Teen Lenten Progressive Fast

During Lent, the tradition is to encourage IHM teens to follow a healthy Lenten Fast. Due to the fact that teens need to eat nutritiously, I am asking that you continue to eat healthy meals, and give up any extra sweets, snacks, soda, etc.

The reasons for this progressive fast are: to make you more aware of yourself, the needs of others, and to help put a healthy balance in your life.

Beginning with the Thursday of each week of Lent, a particular category of food is eliminated from your diet for the remainder of the Lenten Season.
