Sunday Family Faith (SFF)

Parents have the noble task to be the first teachers of their children in the faith. The parish of IHM is dedicated to help parents in their efforts and does so through the Sunday Faith Formation program. On 25 Sundays during the school year, students will learn about our faith, how to be young disciples of Jesus, and about the Catholic Church together with their peers under the leadership of  volunteer Catechists. This program is offered after the 9:30 am Mass to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Registration is required. The fee is $50.00 per child with a family cap of $150. It covers the costs of the curriculum, craft materials, and activities.

Please note: There is an additional fee of $75 for all children in 2nd grade for First Reconciliation and First Communion preparation, which includes the costs for the retreat and other activities.

If these fees present a hardship to your family, please speak to Father Bob or Ute Eble to receive a code to waive the fees.

You can find our calendar for 2024-2025 at a later date…stay tuned.  For any questions, please reach out to Ute Eble at [email protected]

There will be an Open House on Sunday, September 8th.

Volunteer Teachers/Assistant Teachers Needed

Many Catechists are needed to support the Sunday Family Faith program. Catechists are parishioners who volunteer to teach the young generations about our faith and so follow their mission received in Baptism to make disciples (Mt 28:19). Please consider joining this dedicated group of men and women in service to IHM’s children.

“And this is the job of a catechist: constantly go forth to others out of love to bear witness and talk about Jesus, to proclaim Jesus. This is important because the Lord does it; it is the Lord that impels us to go forth.” – Pope Francis

If you feel God calling you to serve as a catechist, please click on the links below to learn more about being a catechist.
