ART AND ENVIRONMENT

Art & Environment

The Art and Environment ministry has been active at Immaculate Heart of Mary parish for many years. The purpose of this ministry is to enhance the church area environment, primarily for weekend liturgies and liturgical seasons.

This includes maintaining the plants, candles, flowers, altar cloths and other implements used in the celebrations. Creative effort is made toward ensuring that the environment for worship is aesthetically pleasing and in support of the church. The time commitment is flexible and you do not need to be an artist. Meetings are called on an “as needed” basis depending on proximity to major holidays.

If interested in joining the Arts and Environment Ministry please contact Karen Winternheimer at [email protected].

MEN'S AND WOMEN'S WELCOME RETREATS

Men’s and Women’s Welcome

Men’s and Women’s Welcome is a 1 and 1/2 day, Jesus centered, spiritual renewal where a team of men or women from our parish share their faith stories, attend a private Mass together, enjoy solitude, and celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
