On December 8, 1946, our parish, Immaculate Heart of Mary of Indianapolis, was officially founded when Fr. Sahm celebrated the first Mass on the feast day of the Immaculate Conception.
On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on December 8, we will celebrate our anniversary with Mass at 6:00 pm, followed by a reception with cookies, cocoa/cider, music and a video celebrating Immaculate Heart of Mary’s 75th Anniversary in the Activity Center. Please join us for Mass with Fr. Bob and past priests, Fr. David Lawler and Fr. Jeff Godecker, in honoring this special day. We are looking for donations of treats for the reception.
