As Brightlane Learning celebrates 25 years of serving students experiencing homelessness and housing instability, our parish is excited to support their 25 for 25 Community Drive.
Founded by Sally Bindley Millman, Brightlane Learning (formerly School on Wheels) provides tutoring, academic support, and advocacy so every child can learn and succeed.
We invite our IHM parish family to help local students prepare for the 2026–2027 school year by donating needed school supplies. The drive will be from August 8 – 23 with a box inside the front doors of church.
Most-needed items include:
- Backpacks (specifically from the wishlist)
- Plastic pocket folders (without prongs)
- Crayola colored pencils (12-count)
- Wide-ruled composition notebooks
- Spiral notebooks
- College-ruled loose-leaf paper
- Scientific calculators
- AAA batteries
- Plastic pencil boxes
Every donation helps Brightlane Learning continue its mission of transforming lives through education and gives students the tools they need for a strong school year.
