Light brings hope, it brings knowledge, and it brings the opportunity for us to grow closer to Christ and each other. Illumination is a way for us to celebrate all the ways we have grown as a community of faith, hope, and love. Illumination is the main fundraiser for both Immaculate Heart of Mary parish and school. The success of this campaign “illuminates” our path forward in the community. The funds raised allow us to: maintain and improve our facilities, support the salaries of our entire staff including teachers, continue our faith programming and youth activities, and support community outreach efforts, such as Boulevard Place Food Pantry. In addition, Illumination also funds specific projects. This year our goal is for new audio-visual equipment for the church and Gathering Space, including linked speakers for the Gathering Space and the Parish Office, and a camera in the balcony. Our current audio-visual system is over 30 years old, so these updates are much needed.
Celebrating our light is important for our community and our future. Your support is critical to sustaining the vibrant IHM community that so many have worked hard to foster over the years!

2025 Fund-A-Need
The IHM Illumination Fund-a-Need Capital project is targeting a goal of $50,000 toward two capital efforts:
1.) AV / Sound System Phase II in the Church
2.) Campus Lighting Phase II – Turf & Playground Lighting
The AV / Sound System project will provide new center-hung speakers, enhance sound and audio clarity for patrons in the church at both the lower level and balcony, will augment the wireless microphone system to allow sound to extend to the exterior of church during certain times of the year (Easter, etc.), will provide video capturing for mass, will supplement music ministry on the alter by providing additional inputs and connectivity for musicians, will enhance the sound and microphone functionality at the lectern, will provide user-friendly controls for a more intuitive AV interface, will provide new speakers and lighting in the Narthex, and will add ADA hearing device connection for those who may require enhanced audio during mass. This project will be built in phases throughout 2025 based on material and equipment timing and delivery.
The Campus Lighting project will complete the second phase of three total phases to provide lighting on the playground and around the turf area and help provide better safety for programs and events that take place at night – Oktoberfest, kickball games that go into the evening, etc. – and will help augment the ability for security cameras to discern unwanted activities that take place after hours.
