The IHM Men’s Group was honored with the Community Service Award at the Celebrating Catholic School Values event on February 22, 2018.  We are proud of their long-standing efforts and outreach service to the students at St. Anthony Catholic School.

Since 1996, Celebrating Catholic School Values (CCSV) has highlighted Catholic schools as assets to the corporate community, honored an outstanding group of alums for their career accomplishments, and honored friends of Catholic schools for their community service.  This event raises much needed money for scholarships to help our low-income families enroll their children in the Catholic school of their choice.  READ MORE about the benefits of the Indiana Tax Credit Scholarship programs.

40 DAYS FOR LIFE SPRING PRAYER VIGIL February 14 – Sunday, March 25 on the public sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood, 8590 Georgetown Rd. Prayer Vigil begins on Ash Wednesday.

Sign up to pray for one hour each week or come anytime between 7:00am and 7:00pm during the 40 Days. The IHM Respect Life Committee signed up to be there each Tuesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. The Annual Birthline Collection of new and gently used baby items is sponsored by the IHM Respect Life Committee in remembrance of the 45th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade, January 22, 2018. The annual collection is valuable to address Birthline’s need for gently used baby clothes. This includes sleepers, onesies, zipper jackets, all children’s clothing (up to 2T), maternity clothing, baby toys and board books. There is need for donations of baby wipes, baby wash and diapers at all times. Please place any of these items including all gently used baby items in boxes at the church entrances from January 14-31.

ALSO…WATCH FOR WHITE CRIB – Beginning this month there will be a small white crib at the archway entrance to the church where small bags of clothes (up to 2T) and other baby items can be left at any time.  As your small children outgrow their things please help Birthline help the mothers of Indianapolis with your donation.  It is so appreciated!!  Contact Mary Dougherty, Respect Life Committee Chairperson for more information, a donation receipt or for pick-up anytime of the year, of large amounts of clothing or large baby items. Thank you IHM!  Birthline, an outreach of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, is so grateful for the car full of many wonderful new items donated to the Advent Giving Tree this year by many of you. They are also thankful for the generous parishioners who donate many gently used clothes and baby items throughout the year by calling for a pick up.

UCA 2017 Hope Changes Everything

Right to Life of Indianapolis will be holding the Annual Celebrate Life Dinner, Tuesday, October 3 at the Indianapolis Downtown Marriott. Don’t miss the chance to help build a culture of life by supporting Right to Life of Indianapolis’ Education Outreach. Keynote speaker will be Pam Stenzel, internationally
renowned abstinence speaker who will share her personal story of being conceived in rape and saved through adoption.
