Youth Masses – From October – April, the third Sunday of the month 11:15 mass is for the youth, with parts of the mass being done by the Confirmation Class.
Archdiocesan Rally – held during the winter every other (non-NCYC years), this rally is a day for all high school youth in the Archdiocese to gather and pray, play and learn more about themselves and their faith.

National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) – Every other year, 24,000 plus teens and chaperones attend a three day conference somewhere in the country. They spend those days in prayer, fellowship, workshops, music, and community.
Service
Service Saturdays/Sundays – We participate in many city wide projects. Check the bulletin each month to check dates.
We also sponsor a Mardi Gras dinner each Fat Tuesday, with proceeds going towards High School Mission Trips. The high school youth set up, serve, share about service opportunities and clean up.
Homeland Mission – A week long service camp in Indianapolis during the summer. We stay the week at the Benedict Inn, and go out each day into the community and work with an agency on a project. In the evening, the teens share prayer and activities. This is open to all high school youth.
Nazareth Farm – A service camp in West Virginia, where 6 youth and 2 adults each year from IHM go to spend a week in community with 30 teens from around the country, doing daily service in the community. Evenings are spent in prayer and fellowship. Projects include roofs, floors, gardening, ramps, painting, small repairs, etc. This trip is open to youth in the summer after their sophomore year.
Honduras – An 8 day trip to Neuvo Paraiso, where up to 14 youth and 4 chaperones will spend their time in work, fellowship and community with the children and adults there. Projects have included; creation of soccer field, building of fences, guard shack, sidewalks, and street signs. We also collect and distribute clothing to the children there. We visit several of St. Maria Rosa’s programs there, and provide food and fellowship to the children. This trip is open to youth in the summer after their junior year through college.
The youth at IHM run the Market Day Program at IHM. Proceeds will go towards mission and service trips and local projects. Please check out the website at www.marketday.com and give the food a try. Just check the website the first week of the month or pick up a flier at school or Church, choose the food items you wish, and order online. You will receive a reminder call when pick-up at IHM will be that month. It’s that easy. Thanks!
