Without the donated services of our parents, our school could not operate as efficiently or as effectively. There are many jobs for volunteers. You may have a special talent or gift that you could share with others. Please call the school office if you would like to volunteer.

The Archdiocese of Indianapolis requires volunteers to complete the following three steps prior to volunteering

1. Read a copy of the Archdiocesan policy on sexual abuse, go to the archdiocese home page at www.archindy.org .

• From there click on Agencies and Offices
• Click on Sexual Abuse
• Click on “To Be Safe and Secure”.

To fulfill your volunteer requirement, read the document, click the browser’s “back” button and click on the Parish/Agency Abuse Policy Receipt Form. Print a copy of the form and sign it.

2. Complete paperwork for a background check; Return the form and money to the school office. Download the Barada Background Check here, Cost is $13.00.

3. Attend the VIRTUS seminar (video, presentation, and discussion) on child abuse. Please sign in at the seminar.

Instructions to Sign Up for VIRTUS Training “Protecting God's Children for Adults”

• These are typically three hour sessions. They offered throughout the Archdiocese.
• On the internet, go to www.virtusonline.org
• This will take you to the opening page.
• On the top left corner of the page, you will see a login in area. Below this is area is the word Registration. Click here.
• Click the arrow that says, “Begin the Registration Process.”
• Follow the directions and fill out the information as needed. It will tell you when you have completed the registration. Make sure to write down where you are attending the session. If you forget, you can always log on to find out where you registered.

**Please Return the Parish/Agency Abuse Policy Receipt Form, the background check with a $13.00 check, and your certificate for attending the VIRTUS Training to the school office.**
